I did a quick check of the room and all appears good. We checked in around 9 dropped off our stuff in the room and headed to the casino. The hotel looks nice but looks can be deceiving. However, we will probably go to another casino next time where the offers and comps are better. The elevator dropped you off at the edge of the casino. On a side note, the hotel was very nice and it was very easy to go from the casino to the hotel. It was obvious that he didn’t want to comp us anything for a few more hours so we’d continue to put more money in the machines. It was very disappointing that they couldn’t comp us $30-$40 for dinner after losing a large amount of money. My husband and I didn’t gamble the rest of the night. He told me not yet and that I could check back in after a few more hours of gambling. After putting a little over $1,000 into the machines (we didn’t win anything.just kept going down and I understand that that’s how gambling goes sometimes), I asked the host if our dinner could be comped. During the first day, I had two hosts introduce themselves to me and tell me that they’d be around if we needed anything.
We had lunch at Nathan’s shortly after arriving and had to wait 15 minutes for 3 hotdogs. My husband and I went to Harrahs River Valley Casino for an overnight stay.
